Almar Water Solutions, a leading company in the development of water infrastructure and part of Abdul Latif Jameel Energy, has acquired a 50% stake in the Chilean company Aguas y Riles S.A. The goal of this acquisition is to enable both companies to grow hand-in-hand by sharing expertise, equipment, experience, and technology in the water sector.
The increase in wine consumption in recent decades has led to a rise in the number of vineyards and wineries around the world. Today, this increased production of grapes and wine, combined with droughts and climate change, mean that now, more than ever, water needs to be used efficiently and sustainably in both cultivation and the wine production process.

On 10 and 11 May, Almar Water Solutions played the leading role in the international water seminars of the international business hub between Europe and Latin America, organized by Madrid Platform. The CEO and several of the company’s directors moderated the sessions and participated in the debates, providing experience and knowledge of the water markets in both regions.
