The company was a silver sponsor of the event, with an 18 m2 stand in the exhibition area and participated in a large number of activities over the five days of the event.

Datakorum, the new investee of Almar Water Solutions, has been selected by E& Enterprise (formerly Etisalat Digital) for a smart-communication project for water and energy infrastructure in Abu Dhabi, including NB-IoT based gateways for smart metering, electricity and water meters, and five years of associated services.

2021 was a year of consolidation for Almar Water Solutions, with the company completing strategic projects and securingagreements. Highlights include the completion of the Shuqaiq 3 desalination plant in Saudi Arabia and the expansion of the services area.
The Shuqaiq 3 desalination plant, with a rated production capacity of 450,000 cubic meters per day and located in the province of Jizan, in southwestern Saudi Arabia, was inaugurated in a ceremony organized under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince / Mohammad Bin Nasser and the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Environmental, Water and Agriculture.
Almar Water Solutions participated in the Second International Conference on Water, Megacities and Global Change organized by UNESCO. The conference’s goal was to bring together scientists, policy makers, operators, public bodies and civil society to address water security and global challenges in megacities.
Almar Water Solutions’ services business area (Almar Water Services) has been consolidating its activity by providing services to both private and industrial clients, as well as to its own assets. It currently has more than 70 contracts for desalination and wastewater treatment plants, in both Latin America and North Africa.
