MINSUR MINING – WATER FACILITIES

Minsur San Rafael mining unit is the primary tin-producing mine in South America and the fourth largest in the world. It is located in the Puno region, in the eastern Andean mountain range, at 4,500 meters above sea level. Since 1977 it has been operating as Minsur S.A., and today it produces about 10% of the world’s tin.

Almar Water Services Latam performs preventive and corrective maintenance of accessories, spare parts, and equipment and the efficient operation of the plants, in addition to complying with the maximum permissible limits for discharge at the Cumani wastewater treatment plant and the quality of drinking water at the Cumani water treatment plant, complying with the operating processes by the manuals and procedures.
