Almar Water Solutions takes part in the International Water Summit in Abu Dhabi
This week, Almar Water Solutions took part in the International Water Summit held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, the leading event for promoting water sustainability in arid regions. It takes place within the framework of the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week and shares the stage with the World Future Energy Summit, an event centred on renewable energies, and the EcoWaste Exhibitions that deal with waste management and recycling solutions.
Carlos Cosín, CEO of Almar Water Solutions, was a speaker at the session on “Taking the waste out of wastewater” on Thursday 18 January. His presentation put forward the idea that wastewater is no longer a problem but, due to reuse, has become part of the solution to supply problems. He also approached various financing scenarios for this type of project.
Abdul Latif Jameel, the group to which the company belongs, was also a platinum sponsor of the World Future Energy Summit and participated in numerous activities such as conferences, press conferences, the media centre, etc.
The International Water Summit provided an extensive exhibition area, high-level conferences and an exclusive networking platform that enabled attendees to connect to the market and generate business opportunities. It was a unique opportunity to learn about the latest technological innovations in the sector.
The Almar Water Solutions team came to the International Water Summit from around the world to strengthen relations with leaders of the water sector in the Middle East and to learn about projects in the region at first hand. The company also has offices in Dubai and Jeddah to face current and future water-related challenges and provide service to citizens and businesses in the Middle East.
