Developing flagship water projects under public-private schemes

Almar Water Solutions has vast experience developing water infrastructure contracts under project finance schemes. With solid financial capabilities and deep market knowledge, Almar Water Solutions invest, design, develop, promote and operate the greatest water assets optimizing processes, procedures, and systems.

The main advantage of public-private partnerships is the sharing of human, financial, and technical resources that enables the ideal allocation since the responsibility is allotted to the entity best fitted to implement the project, with positive repercussions on both efficiency and costs.

Almar Water Solutions has strong relationships with key financial institutions and decision-makers, enabling the company to provide the most efficient financing structure that can best suit the needs of each project uniquely. We also have the most qualified and competitive professionals to develop each phase of the project optimally and efficiently.

Recently, our company has developed the Shuqaiq 3 desalination plant in Saudi Arabia under a 25-year IWP contract and will develop the Zuluf water treatment plant in Saudi Arabia under a 25-year BOOT contract. Also, 35% of the Muharraq wastewater treatment plant was acquired by Almar Water Solutions in 2019, a 29-year contract under a BOOT scheme.
