CODELCO VP EL TENIENTE II – WATER FACILITIES

Located in the O’Higgins Region, in Rancagua, Codelco El Teniente Division is one of the most outstanding mining companies in technical aspects of subway mining and a worldwide reference. Tunnel construction operations are people-intensive and require complementary facilities for essential services such as food and restrooms. Almar Water Services Latam develops a critical function for the operational continuity of our client through the provision of a specialized service for the operation and maintenance of drinking water treatment plants, sewage, and the operation and maintenance of boiler systems for heating and hot water for the change rooms. These facilities serve more than 500 people per shift; if the services provided by Almar Water Services Latam needed adequate reliability, the personnel would not have the minimum hygiene conditions and, therefore, could not perform their construction activities.

In addition, the service performs the operation and maintenance of ventilation systems, pumping systems, water and oil separator plant, and sewage treatment plants. In this way, it provides critical support for the correct development of tunnel construction activities.
