Consortium to invest over US$ 600m in large-scale desalination plant in Shuqaiq, creating 700 jobs to supply water for over 1.8 million people and industry.
Plant will be one of the largest desalination plants based on reverse osmosis technology globally, with capacity of 450,000 cubic meters per day.
This week, Almar Water Solutions took part in WFES Water, the most important water event in the Middle East, which forms part of the World Future Energy Summit (WFES) within the framework of the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week. Designed by the world’s most prominent water experts, WFES Water focused on the Water-Energy-Food nexus with the goal of optimizing the efficiency of resources, sustainability and security in arid regions.
