Almar Water Solutions participates in the Water Investment Forum 2016 celebrated in Riyadh, in Saudi Arabia

This weekend, the Water Investment Forum 2016, organized by the National Water Company, Saline Water Conversion Corporation, and the Ministry of the Environment, Water and Agriculture of Saudi Arabia, was held in Riyadh.

One of the highlights was the presentation by Carlos Cosín, CEO of Almar Water Solutions, who discussed the successful projects that he has carried out during his more than 20 years in the water sector.


Almar Water Solutions pre-qualifies for a desalination plant in Umm Al Quwain, in the United Arab Emirates

On 18 August, Almar Water Solutions, through its parent company Abdul Latif Jameel, was pre-qualified for the development of a desalination plant in Umm Al Quwain in the United Arab Emirates.

The desalination plant, with a rated capacity of 204,570 cubic metres/day, will be developed under a Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) or Build-Own-Operate (BOO) scheme over 25 years, and will supply a population of over one million inhabitants.
