Company Overview

Ridgewood Egypt is a vertically integrated water infrastructure company specializing in desalination, water treatment, wastewater treatment and water supply solutions.

Founded in 1999, the company designs, fabricates, commissions, operates and maintains its own plants, allowing full control over quality standards, operational performance, energy efficiency and project delivery timelines.

Ridgewood has developed an extensive footprint across Egypt, operating more than 70 desalination plants with individual capacities ranging between 500 and 20,000 m³/day. Its water supply and management solutions currently serve more than 200 resorts, hotels and industrial facilities across the country.

In November 2020, Ridgewood was acquired by Hassan Allam Utilities and Almar Water Solutions, strengthening the company’s financial capabilities, technical expertise and long-term growth strategy. The partnership aims to expand Ridgewood’s presence in water infrastructure and services across the region.
